Dalmar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale
The 24-story, 323-room full-service Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide dual branded Element and Tribute design hotel was completed in 2019 and features 12,102 square feet of ground level retail, 11,860 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, a 6th floor gym and pool deck, business center, four levels of interior parking garage, a lobby bar and pool grill, and the only roof-top bar and lounge in Fort Lauderdale. There are separate check in’s for the Element and Tribute, and shared amenities. The Element has 114 rooms on the 7th to 12th floors, while Tribute has remaining 209 rooms on the 13th to 23rd floors.
"Dal" is a concise reference to the hotel's Fort Lauderdale location, while "mar" is a subtle nod to the city's coastal geography, said Wurzak Hotel and its creative partner, DesignAgency.
Starwood launched Tribute Portfolio in April 2015 as its 10th brand, to bring together a collection of independent hotels and resorts with four-star service and upscale amenities. The brand had nine hotels including four in North America as of July 26, according to Starwood.
