Lab.Report . July 2008
Glowlab’s Christina Ray has just returned from a trip to two of our favorite cities- London and Copenhagen. In London she spent 3 days with Cutup, who will be joining us at Conflux for the second year in a row. Check our photos of CutUp’s latest work being installed in Hackney, East London. From London Christina traveled to Copenhagen to participate in the Metropolis Lab symposium, where she enjoyed a series of thought-provoking presentations by international artists and presented a talk about the Conflux Festival. While there she saw Glowlab friends Karoline Larsen, Christian Nold, Mark Shepard, Elizabeth Streb and others. This month we hit SCOPE Hamptons for the weekend of July 24 - 27. We’ll have an installation of Glowlab artists’ works in Booth 20, including brand new pieces by Jason Cantoro, CutUp, Beka Goedde, David Hamill, David Kesting, Roberto Mollá and more. If you can make it out, we invite you to participate in the exciting Collector Mentorship Auction and attend a panel discussion titled “Green, Bad?” with speakers Michael Ekstract, Maziar Behrooz, Sharon Hoge, Flavio Espinoza and Christina Ray. See the fair schedule for details.
