New York, NY (December 15, 2009) – Glowlab is pleased to present Glowlounge . Winter 2010 Edition: Artist Talks and New Works, a series of four artists’ talks and a rotating exhibition of works by current and new artists. Talks will take place in the gallery as artists discuss their work in a continuing dialogue centered on art, technology and the urban environment.

During the two-month event, the gallery will feature works on paper by Glowlab artists as well as a preview of work by new artists to be introduced in exhibitions later in the year. Artwork will change each week and the flat files will be open for viewing.
Launched by Glowlab in 2003, Glowlounge acts as a platform for artists and the public to connect in an informal, creative setting to view and talk about art, social change and progressive approaches to urban living. Past Glowlounge events have featured cultural change agents including Swoon, Flash Mobs creator Bill Wasik, Sal Randolph, Lee Walton and more.
Glowlounge is free to attend but limited to to very small number of guests in order to create a conversational atmosphere. Only ten seats are available for each talk. To request a seat please contact Glowlab at 212 334 0204.
Please note that beginning in January, 2010, gallery hours will change to Wednesday-Sunday, 12-6pm, with Tuesdays by appointment.
