Lab.Report . August 2008

We’re back from the beach and SCOPE Hamptons where we made a big splash [in a small space!], presenting a site-specific installation by David Kesting. We exhibited new work by many of our artists, including CutUp, who will soon join us for Conflux and participate in our panel discussion with Rhizome at the New Museum on September 5th. Conflux artists have now been announced; check out the projects and mark your calendar for Sept. 11-14. If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer, we love ya: sign up here. We’ve had a couple nice mentions around the internets recently; one on Artnet for SCOPE, one related to An Atlas of Radical Cartography [look out for Regine Debatty's panel about this book at Conflux], and the inclusion of Christina Ray and David Mandl’s One Block Radius project in the exhibition TAGallery 021: City of Nodes. Out with a shout, we say Bon Voyage to our friend Swoon and her crew for their breathtaking project, the Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea, launching this week on the Hudson River.
